While our brown sugar is gentle enough, we do not recommended to use this on face. The face skin is relatively more sensitive than rest of the body and needs a more finer, much more gentle scrub to avoid micro tears. For face, go with our Bamboo face scrub for a more gentler exfoliation.

If there are no preservatives what is the shelf life of this scrub?

Without preservatives or water in the formula, the shelf life of the oil-based brown sugar scrub is typically around 6 months after opening. To prolong its shelf life, it's important to store the scrub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Additionally, using clean, dry hands or a scoop to remove the scrub from the jar can help prevent contamination and extend its usability.
